How much does mezuzah checking cost?
$20 per mezuzah. Local pickup and return are included at no additional charge.
Where do you offer free pickup and return?
Our standard local service area is Boca Raton, Delray Beach and Boynton Beach.
When are pickups available?
Monday through Friday, with pickup windows of 9–11 AM, 11 AM–1 PM and 1–3 PM.
How quickly are mezuzot returned?
Same-day and next-day return is generally available. Turnaround may be longer if a repair is needed and you approve sending the mezuzah for repair.
Do I need to remove the mezuzot before pickup?
Yes. Please have all mezuzot you want checked removed and together at the scheduled pickup time. You can leave specific pickup instructions when booking.
Are repairs included in the $20 checking fee?
No. If a mezuzah needs repair, we will contact you before proceeding. Repair charges are separate and require your approval.
What happens if a mezuzah cannot be repaired?
We can discuss replacement options. New kosher mezuzot are available through STaM Direct based on current inventory.
Can I order Tefillin or Megillot online?
Yes. Start an order through the Shop page. Because specifications and inventory vary, we confirm the actual item, details and price with you before finalizing the purchase.
Why don’t you list vague “good / better / best” tiers?
Meaningful differences in STaM should be explained clearly. We prefer to identify the actual specifications of an item rather than rely on a generic marketing label.
